PBK has initiated “PBK” and started to distribute Solar Home System (SHS) in the energy starved off-grid rural areas of Bangladesh since 2012. PBK became a Partner Organization (PO) of Infrastructure Development Company Ltd. (IDCOL) in February 2013. The Organization is implementing this program in 22 Upazilas of 5 Districts through 23 Unit Offices. Until June 2018 PBK Solar has distributed 9,399 SHS among the same number of families. All the users of SHS are provided basic training to operate the system smoothly.
