PBK will participate in Mithamoin Upazilla in kishoregonj District under HISAL project in collaboration with CONCERN BANGLADESH.

Objective
Reduce community vulnerability to shocks & increase livelihood options of 21,688 targeted households living in the deep Haors in Kishoregonj, Habigonj and Sunamgonj dist. through improved access to and use of resources & services.

HISAL proposes to establish a process of long term sustainable livelihood security for food insecure household & communities by empowering them through their active participations in all phases of projects activity implementation, the application of a partnership approach, and advocacy of key issues at the national & local levels.

Pally Bikash Kendra (PBK) intend to start initial activities by establishing HISAL project office in Mithamoin and followed by other activities enclosed as action plan July to September 2006.
